BIO

Alaina Speraw has practiced Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine for the past 20 years.  She is a graduate of Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine, Santa Monica, California and has a Bachelor's degree in Humanistic Psychology/Asian Studies from Sonoma State College, Rohnert Park, California.  After completing her training, Alaina Speraw established Morningtide Acupuncture Clinic in Halifax, Nova Scotia, where she and her associates provided holistic health care services.  She was a founding member of the Nova Scotia Acupuncture Association and a frequent guest speaker on TV, Radio and public forums.

In 1989 she returned to Tucson, Arizona where she worked at Canyon Ranch Health Resort as an Acupuncturist and workshop presenter.  She also worked with Solstice and integrative medical clinic specializing in Cancer and other auto-immune disorders under the direction of Jesse Stoff, MD, HMD.  Alaina was selected as an assessor for the NIH funded Depression Study at the University of Arizona.

Currently she resides and practices in Scottsdale, Arizona where she offers her services at the Virginia G Piper Cancer Center and in her private office.
