Bio

Angela Kann, Herbalist has dedicated the majority of her life to the study and practice of herbal medicine. Born into a family of herbalist and healers, she was raised on an organic farm. Her great grandmother was a mid-wife and herbalist and great grandfather a hands-on healer. Angela grew to know many Native American healers, and at the age of seventeen studied with Bob Sundown on the medicinal uses of Arizona Plants and her journeys have continued from there.

She attended Southwest Institute of Healing Arts, Reevis Mountain School, and The Rocky Mountain School of Botanical Studies, which led her into internships all over the world with many famous herbalists and healers. On her most recent trip she worked with the Tonjee tribe in Costa Rica.

Angela has owned an herbal company called Earth Remedies since 1998. She founded the Herbal Hideaway and Wellness Center from 2004-2006. She developed a natural skin care line for Radiance Med Spas in 2006. She also a makes a number of custom formulas and extracts for many naturopathic physicians. Angela has educated hundreds of students from colleges around the Valley. Angela Kann is the founder of the Alternative Medicine Conference, and is opening The Herbal Hideaway & Café in Phoenix.
