Dr. Clark H. Hansen is a licensed Naturopathic Medical Doctor (N.M.D.) who has been in private practice in Scottsdale, Arizona, since 1986. He is the President and Medical Director of the Hansen Clinic of Natural Medicine, Aesthetics and Mesotherapy.
Dr. Hansen is one of the most well respected Naturopathic Physicians in the country and receives patients from all over the United States. He has appeared on many radio and TV health shows and was the host his own radio show, Vital Signs, in Phoenix for many years. Dr. Hansen graduated from the John Bastyr College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Seattle, Washington in 1986. In 1988, he founded the Arizona Institute of Natural Medicine, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In 1992, Dr. Hansen helped co-found the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences, the first 4-year Naturopathic Medical School in Arizona.
Dr. Hansen has served as an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine at the college and on the Curriculum Review Committee. In 1994, Dr. Hansen founded Vital Formulations, Inc., a nutritional and herbal supplement company, in order to make is clinical formulas available to the public through retail stores and doctor’s offices.
In 2004, Dr. Hansen added Aesthetics and Mesotherapy to his practice and changed the name of the clinic from the Arizona Institute of Natural Medicine, to the Hansen Clinic of Natural Medicine, Aesthetics, and Mesotherapy.
Dr. Hansen epitomizes the essence of being a General Practice, Family Physician. His practice includes all ages from newborns with colic to the most senior suffering from congestive heart failure or cancer. A Naturopathic Physician is the best suited of any medical professional to serve as a family’s primary care provider because he specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of the whole person and the whole family.
