Bio

Karen S. Danner has been described as an inspiring and gifted lecturer, wellness coach and author.  As a facilitator of wellness workshops and presentations in corporate and private sectors, she is fast becoming one of the most sought-after presenters in the field of wellness.  As the Founder of Love Yourself WellÔ, a wellness education and promotion company, she is an advocate of living well and living from the heart; movement is at the core of her message.  She actively campaigns to create awareness around individual wellness and the evolvement of the human condition. 

Karen earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University .  She is a certified wellness coach through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) affiliate, WellCoaches, Inc., as well as a trained and certified Spiritual Counselor.  Upon completion of her coaching internship, she has continued to develop personal depth and breadth in a number of areas of study including mindfulness, meditation and prayer, stress management, compassionate communication, practical spirituality, behavior integration, creative life design and relationship wellness.  Because of her commitment to education in the wellness field, she was invited to join the staff and teach Mindfulness at Arizona State University .  She has also been sought out by other Phoenix area schools to teach classes on exercise and wellness.  Her training and experience with both wellness education and coaching allow her to share her passion for living from the heart to create a life of peace.  Her strong presentation, coaching and writing skills have been developed through more than 13 years of experience in Human Resources and Training and Development in corporate and private practice environments.  Her services include executive wellness coaching, individual and group wellness coaching, telecoaching, corporate keynotes, workshops and retreats.  

Karen’s dynamic presence allows for inspiring and captivating workshops and seminars.  Her speaking style of presentation is engaging, inspiring and informative.  As a wellness educator and a professional speaker, Karen has designed and presented programs to major universities, corporations, educational conferences, non-profit organizations, retreats and professional associations.  Her topics focus on areas of wellness, lifestyle behaviors, stress management and empowerment through self-awareness.  She presents practical, effective information and tools that inspire participants to live from the heart and live well.  Karen is equally at home presenting in corporations, conferences, hospitals, churches and civic settings, transcending boundaries and bringing a much-needed message of peace and inspiration.

Personal Note from Karen: My journey is unique, in that only I have experienced it.  My personal perspective of my life focused on lack and limitation, drawing my attention to poor communication and life skills, embodied in a limited emotional language.  Having been successful in the endeavors I chose to commit to, I was confused by the consistent, persistent low-grade level of unhappiness I continued to experience.  Happiness and peace seemed to flit in and out of my life.  That low-grade unhappiness moved to the foreground of my attention and became a very dark place of low self-esteem, panic attacks, ever-present anxiety and addictions.  A drive from within compelled me to find a way to break my cycle of pain to live a life of peace.  Through writing, wellness education, promotion and coaching, I live a life of joy, peace and purpose, which allows me to share my experience, knowledge and intuition to inspire others to embrace and evolve their own wellness.
